About Queenspawn Games

I grew up playing NetHack on the Amiga, then sank hours into Flash games like Age of War as a teen. Those two games eventually fused into Castle Game while I was on paternity leave after my daughter's birth. I built a game that I myself wanted to play. Strategy-first, high replay value, and no pay-to-win.

A few years later, I thought of another game I wanted to play. Wouldn't it be fun if Rocks, Papers, and Scissors could chase each other around, forcing the players to always be multitasking? Building on the core engine, renderer, and networking code, the second game was much easier to make than the first.

With the framework in place, I realized I could build additional games on top of the same core, all terminal-first. I plan to continue to iterate on the existing games as well as explore a multitude of new ideas in new games.
